Education is both the means as well as the end to a better life: means, because it empowers an individual to earn his/her livelihood and the end because it increases one's awareness on a range of issues. from healthcare to appropriate social behavior to understanding one's rights - and in the process evolve as a better citizen.

GSWS Ngo organising free health camps under our health programme which aims to take comprehensive health care services (preventive, promotive and curative) for the most underprivileged population in remote rural areas and urban slums. GSWS Ngo Health Care initiatives include the following

• Primary Health Care / physiotherapy Camps
• Health and hygiene awareness
• Specialized health Camps including eye & dental
• Adolescent Health Education and Counseling
• HIV / AIDS awareness

Programmes such as exhibitions, audio-visual shows, talks, meetings, celebrations, meals, quality of life improvement programms are being taken up on different occasions. Some of the initiatives are

• Environment day
• TB nutrition program
• Wildlife week
• Traditional hand Embroidery

One of the major aims of the PAHAL is to create a society which provides equal opportunities to all irrespective of the social and economic barriers. This can only be achieved if different empowering interventions are done at different levels.

Most of the programs initiated by us aim towards empowerment of the needy women, the underprivileged and the marginalized who has always been the exploited class. We have also contributed in martial arts training for all the women and girls.
